You guys should think about what your saying before you jump to conclusions.

Yes, the Ford runs an IHI only to 5500 RPM, but that's with 2.2L and 2.3L engines, you would have to be doing at least 7000 RPM with a 1.6L to demand the same amount of air from the turbo. I will guarantee that if your IHI is in good condition, and you have a decent exhaust system, on most stock 1.5-1.6L engines it will easily pull through 7000 RPM. Maybe not on a B16, or similar but it'll do it on anything else.

from what ive heard, honda heads flow quite well, and hondas in general i would think are more volumetrically efficient than the turbo fords and mazdas the rhb5 came on...so whether or not it dies out up top, id say to get something bigger

Now I digress, as most people now know that the IHI is a good street car turbo, and the T3 and bigger for drag and highway racing.....

yup, look at my dyno chart... at 8psi or so the car runs same hp as like a t3/t4 or that edlebrock kit... it's around 3000-5600 i get same hp... after 5600rpm, the tq curve drops like hell and i lose like 25 or so WHP... no top end.. maybe if i boost it like 9psi it might compensate for 15-20whp... but then again, i'll be boosting close to 10.5psi before 5600 rpm (the turbo drops psi)

when i had my turbo kit going (turbo need rebuilt) the wastegate opened too easily. But at high rpms it boosted anyways. I was reaching 8pi with no downpipe and it cut loose on a small turbo. It was still pulling till redline. but this was with no downpipe. Teo4h on a D16.
