Eagle rods are like $350 on ebay and they would be a lot better investment. If I was building a motor I would rather use aftermarket rods than stock honda rods. I guess if your just looking to save money though the ls rods will work.

Honda tuning says eagle "econo- rods" can handle 20psi.. And i'm sure "econo" stands for cheap, like econo-bake.
