so i decided to keep my d series motor and build the best it the best i can i did a 5 angle valve job and ported and polished the head , now id like to build a turbo could some please tell me the best turbo and intercooler to use

i have the same car and motor, i will be running this setup in 2 weeks
12:1 FMU T25 @10psi walborough inline fuel pump mx6/probe intercooler custom manifold first ask yourself how much boost do i want then pick a turbo. |

With the correct fuel management, Jeff even says you can boost it that high.
Zdhyne, Hondata, SMC? It should be OK if it's tuned correctly. And the correct parts are used.. (Not to mention the fact that the engine was taken care of in the first place. |

my boy with the same setup as i, except he had a t3/t4, was hitting 13.2's all day long on slicks. 10lbs after 2 months he lost compression in 1 and 3 due to a lean mixture. I hope to tune it better than he did.

I ran 12 psi on a d15b2, at the track and all the way home no problems.... then one day it gernaded, I was beating the ---- out of it.
It may or may not happen. I had pretty good fuel management too. Jeff |
