Post D15 Turbo

I own a 92 Civic Hatch with the stock D15 in it.

I plan to turbo this till I get deployed to Iraq and have an H22 Swapped into it.

A buddy of mine gave me a deal on his t3/t4 turbo kit I can't refuse.

So I thinking of turbocharging the D15 till I leave in Oct., the car has 160,000 on it, but just recently had a lot of work done. Bunch of brand new seals, water pump, refinished head, head gasket, ect...

With the kit plus, Blox Bypass Valve, FMU, walbro 255 intake pump, all necessary gauges to monitor car, a proper install, and in a couple weeks a MegaSquirt ECU, do you think I could safely daily drive this car on 4-6psi?

Sorry if these seems newbish, I am not new to turboes, just this engine.

Why megasquirt? Chip the ecu you already have, it will be a lot less work. Megasquirt is a barebones system that you have to configure - no offense but it will be way above your head. A weaksauce 6psi will be fine with an FMU

I was thinkin about that awsell. But idk what chips to trust?

I was thinkin of holding off on the ecu and getting a hondata s300 when I do the H22 swap?

But any links to acual useful, and fit to a mid budget, ecu chips would be helpful. ThxZ =]

There`s a lot more to this than you realize. To do this properly you`re going to have to buy a chip burner, chip kit, get engine management software, a wideband, access to a welder.
Hondata is crap (just my opinion). You can chip the ecu you already have and it will run either engine, when the time comes.

Try looking on PGMFI.org ------------- ectune.com

The money you save by not buy hondata crap will help out in the long run.

I only boosting 5-6psi.
I was hoping stock injectors would be kool, but I was gonna find out, and up if they weren't. I'll look into these chips, and another ? I have is, 12:1 FMU.. to much for this project?

Xenocron Tuning: Basemap Chip - Xenocron Custom #[Basemap-Chip]

Thinking of buying this chip to get me to the tuner.

Xenocron Tuning: Chipped OBD1 Non-VTEC ECU. #[Non-V-Ecu]

And this chipped ecu to have it tuned when I get there?

Will I still need to get an FMU? I also think I would still need the MAP Bypass valve.. correct?
