Yep

Re: D14 manifold
thank you, you've been great help with just one word. Any recommendations or places i shouldn't buy from.
|
Re: D14 manifold
Don't buy from SSautochrome or any XS power products. Use a good old HF manifold.

Re: D14 manifold
as mines a 1.4 i have seen kits with .60 hot side and .50, I think these are too big. I ma thinking of useing a T28 or T25 what do you think most of them use t3 fitings.

Re: D14 manifold
ones question will xspower oil lines be good or not? and will the oil feed on the d14 be the same place as a d16.
thanks lads. |
Re: D14 manifold
Any oil line feed kit will work provided it is intended for the right turbo you have. The fitting into the block on Hondas and most imports is the same a 1/8 BPST.Stealthmode oil line kits are great for the money and available from the sponsors on this site.A .42 .48 T3 or a T25 would work well.A T25 might be ideal for a D14.Pick your turbo then order a oil line kit to match.

Re: D14 manifold
i have seen turbokits with T3/T4 Compress .50/.63Turbine/.57trim, what do you guys think if these? I think it may be a little big where do you think it will spool at 7-8 psi on stock engine?
|
Re: D14 manifold
Way to big.Like is said a T3 .42 .48 at biggest or a DSM/Nissan T25.
|
Re: D14 manifold
i was guessing it was. Well Finding a smal t3 is hard os i am going to buy a turbokit with a the above T3 and fit a T25 on. Would a t28 be good as well?

saw this kit on ebay. What do you guys think quality or crap? If this kit si good i would change it for a t25. |
Re: D14 manifold
Well its Chinese for sure and that ------- still hasn't shipped my Chinkville wastegate!
|
Re: D14 manifold
Avoid that kit it is poop.
|
Re: D14 manifold
can you remomend any with charge piping for a civic? as its next to impossible to get piping around here.
|
Re: D14 manifold
Well .. you can use 2.5" mild steel pipes and then bend/cut them into place. Hold them together with silicone... Or drain pipes, depending on how much getto you want to get ;D As for running 5-7 psi of boost. Those rods in the D14 make the rods in the D15 look massive. Just be carfull |
Re: D14 manifold
im a d14 owner like you.. i used a t3 .42 .48 and i think it was a good choice. spools around 3000 full boost by 3500-4000 and holds boost till redline. a t25 could do good too but it will be a problem later if you wanna upgrade your setup
