D-SERIES GURU'S LOOK HERE!!! Boost levels on a D16Z6???
As many of you might know my latest B-series project went up in a garage fire along with the car, so now I just bought a new one. 94 Ex coupe with the D16Z6 motor. It has 225,000 on it but runs great, dosent smoke or anything. It has been well taken care of. Since I don't have the money at current to start building my next B-Series project, i wanted to put some power adding boost through the Z6. I was just wanting to know a little more about this motor's capabilities since I'm not too farmiliar with it for boost. What would you guys say would be a Reliable amount of boost daily(it is the daily driver) as well as at the track with stock everything? I don't have the $ to pick up head studs and a Head gasket to do the studs so I'm still on the stock bolts and gasket, which I've heard D-series have tendency's to blow H.G.'s when boosted(whether that's true or not anyone know? and at what Boost lever?) other than that any hints or tip's about this setup would be appreciated. Thanks guys

Well I have been boosting 7 psi for the past few weeks with absolutely no problems on a d15b7 T3 .48/.60. And you can run even more than my ----- *** motor. What turbo you plannin to use?
well Jay(accordepicenter) hooked me up with a nice Garret T3 which I believe is a Dodge turbo it's .42 Comp/.48 Exhaust. How's your motor likin the boost Jago? Is the Z6 stronger than the D15 for boost?
stay max at about 200WHP ... I have a z6 with 15g turbo on it, boosting only the stock 5-6 psi and I haven't seen a single cel since I installed it
... may go to 10 in the future
