I'm in the process of putting together a turbo kit on my B16a2 I have almost all of my stuff (intercooler, mani. injectors. etc.) I was just wondering if this turbo that came out of a apex kit for a d series motor might be a little small for a high revving b series Vtec motor. I'm really just worried about overrevving the turbine and spinning it do death. You think it'll be OK? It is the the nice ball bearing IHI turbo but it was made for a smaller motor...bla bla bla anyway...you know what I mean

 

somewhere theres a another 99-00 civic Si without a motor because of you..j/k ..I dont know what turbo the apex kit has, but i know they have some impessive numbers on d series motors...find out what turbo it is. even if the turbo was too small for the b16a2 your not gonna hurt the turbo..it will just be reaching its max. efficenticey.

there is a guy in my town using the d kit turbo on a b engine. it works great.
