i made my own timer out of a kit i got at work at Fry's Electronics with my discount for $5. also picked up a LED for on status and 2 buttons and a pot **** and mounted them in drilled holes in the dash. throw a relay and a diode on the output wire and ur good to go. works just as good as a regular one; can set it for 2 seconds or 10 minutes, car cant be started without the key after it goes off, pretty easy to make if ur handy with a soldering iron. i'm an electrical engineer nerd so i like doing this stuff, otherwise i wouldnt care too much for a timer. they should have em at Frys if u got one near you if not 9 bucks on the site.

Nothing wrong with somebody wanting sumthin for their car just cuz you don't like it. Jeez, some of you need to grow up.

Personally I prefer to have a turbo timer. Because of my millionaire playboy lifestyle, I don't always have 30 seconds to sit there and wait on the car to cool and it's nice to have that freedom of having it cool itself down.

When I bought my first turbo, it was coked up all to ---- and I pledged never to let that happen to a turbo. Not on my watch.

The only real drawback (other than the cost, of course) is people's reactions. i.e. telling you your car is still running, telling you your car just died.

I dont see the problem of having a turbo timer. Everyone has their own opinion and can do what they like i mean whats the point sitting in ur car waiting for it to cool when ya dont have too? as far as ricer goes, how the ---- can a electronic control mechanism used to control cooling of a turbo be ricer i mean wtf maybe if it was painted pink and mounted on the dash with bling buttons and flashed neon lights like a dance club. Anyone head of personal preference?

Shockazooloo how can you call someone a noob when you only have 30 some post. With Hotrex's osama bitch laden as your avatar then I guess that explains it all. Sloppy seconds from hotrex is the lowest someone can go.
