Alright im getting rid of my greddy catback and am going to make custom 3" turbo back exhaust.

Im going to order the piping from http://www.kteller.com/store/index.php?cPath=23_35_38

its only like $200 bucks for the 3" piping and then all i have to do is do a little welding, maybe some slight trimming but ill need to find a good 3" inlet universal muffler. I want a muffler that isnt going to sound like ----, does any-1 know any specific muffler that has a deep throaty sound to it? Apexi makes a nice muffler that is 3" inlet and 4" tip but ive heard apexi exhaust systems and they all sound raspy as hell.

Im looking to find a good muffler that has a 3" inlet and will go with my 3" turboback system. I want a deep throaty sound not someone farting in the wind kinda noise.

im doing the same thing as you, but im probably gonna run 2.75 inch piping. lemme know what kind of muffler you got and see if you can get a audio clip of 1000 - 7000 rpms then email to me

oh, and i need your radiator.

A friend of mine bought one from ebay...the muffler is from Megan Racing...track only muffler lol.
3 inch inlet 4 or 4.5 inch outlet..It's really deep never heard anything deeper than that but it's loud as hell.You can hear him come from 2 blocks away and my windows of my house just begin to shake. and if ther eis any cars with a sensitive alarm they will go off

maybe a magnaflow muffler. its not the canister style. but its a 3 inch inlet and 3 inch outlet. straight through. its not so loud. quieter than those rice cans.

I did the exact same thing,3" alumized tubing
bent up at a muff shop after hours on the cheap.
with the 3" Apexi turbo muffler(universal)
This muffler measures 24.5" overall legnth and
because of the turbo its not much lowder than
my Ractive catback when i was n/a
The problem i had was,at 8 psi i was getting
boost spikes up to 12 psi.Everyone said it was because
my exhaust was too big for 8 psi.
So i bought the silencer for the turbo muffler
and now 8 psi.(rock steady)
The biggest kick in the *** was when i ordered the
silencer i found out the mufflers also came anodized
4 or 5 different colors
