my buddy did a HMT kit on his celica with a CT-26. Nice turbo and spooled good but it eventually died cause it had a lot of miles on it (plus i think he over-boosted it). He was runnin 13 psi daily out of it and the celica is a 2.2L. Although the B16 is only a 1.6, given that it revs to 8k i would think a ct26 would be pretty good. Remember they used to come on old supras so i'm guessing they have some potential. Spool time should be reasonably quick as they're not that big.

hte twin scroll ones off mr2's are usualy ct20b's the ct26 off of a celica all trac is alittle smaller. i have a 2 supra ct26's sitting here, one ready to go in and one ready to be rebuilt going to run them on a 2.0 toyota 3sge motor with 9.1:1 compression. toyota never relased a map for the ct26 so, thats kinda shitty.

The CT20B only came on the "JDM" versions of the Alltrac/MR2. The CT26 twin scroll came on the 90-93 Alltrac and MK2 MR2, while the CT26 Single scroll came on the supra and 87-89 Alltrac.

For the price they go for, I would just sell it and buy a larger turbo.

i thought, after looking around, that they only came on the supra and the celica, and, that they were the same. Seeing as there are no available compressor maps its difficult to figure what they are going to be like, so I dont really agree with your post as T3's come in all shapes and sizes and the CT26 comes in 1, unless its hybrid, which this is not. Unless of course you know something that you arent letting on.

i got both of mine for about 100 shipped off ebay.. but he is going to have problems finding manifolds with flanges for a ct26. I forgot the ct20b is the one with the ceramic compressor fins and all of that jazz. i have the single entry with the single entry all trac manifold
