last years i put a h22 in my old crx1984, it's my sleeper, , this year i want to make a custum turbo kit, what turbo should i take for my project, i've not a lot of money to do that, i buy my home last summer so, i'am a low budget racer!! on what car can i pick it up this turbo,

i don't want to blew up my engine so, i would like to run at6-7 psi, and i want a very fast spool

Since you're on a low budget I'm guessing you are going to be boosting on stock internals. Be careful with the h22 because it has weak ringlands. If you're looking for very fast spool I'd say go with a t3, it should spool very fast on that h22.

 

yes, i will run on stock internal, for the moment, and i know that the h22 a4 is weaker than the h22a1, because of the open deck. i will send pics soon. the t3 you suggest me on what car can i pick it up.

Out of topic: what do you quarter? My friends' 90 w/h22 and ran 13.6 on streets and on a 50 shot ran 12.6 on streets as well. Curious because you have a first gen.

 

i ran 13,1 on street tire i can do better, my 0-60 was 2,3 sec so, to much spinn out

 

hey. do your self a favor and stay normally aspired. its not fun taking those motors apart. they break ever so easily. their ringlands are weaker than ----! I blew one up at 6 psi and the airfuel on the wideband was 12.0 -12.1 across the board. one little bit of detonation kills those motors. dont boost it what ever you do!!!

 

i know they are weak but, at this point..... humm this is a big decision

 

How fast you wanna go? 13.1 on n/a tight. What do you launch at? My homeboy launched at 600rpms so he wouldnt spin.
