I pulled my spark plugs today and found that two of them had a very worn black cover at the bottom. Both had cracks in them. What are those black covers for? its located on the end that shoots out fuel. Could that be whats causing a fauled plug?

to much gas or to much air will fouled out the plugs try some better plugs that burn more spark and better quality, try super V's they burn pretty damn good

 

its only happening on one plug

 

possible leaking injector to find out undo your fuel rail and disconnect your injectors turn key but dont turn car on and check if one is leaking down with pressure applied

 

can you explain that a little more?
