Default Could I clear my A/C with this

ok this is HKS's turbo manifold for the d16 the flange is on the front of the manifold and to the left when facing the car - will I be able to clear the A/C compressor or am I still going to have a problem? Could I use this in conjunction with a slim-fan, does anyone have any specs that I could possibly use?

---- ----, those are some expensive pos log manifolds.

It looks like the flange is far enough away to clear A/C. Are you really going to pay that much for a log manifold?

I'd pay for it if it would work with my A/C does anyone want to make one for me - I lack tools and knowhow to do anything of the sort other than assemble the turbo setup itself! Will the compressor housing run into the fan on my A/C compressor because it looks like it goes right out in front instead of down?

I still wouldn't pay that much for a log manifold. No matter what it's made out of, it still uses the same design.

Ok so I'm getting real sick of looking for manifolds to clear my A/c I think I might just get an HF mani that looks like it's decent and just give up as soon as I get the money if the A/C has to go even for just a little while its cool I can keep looking and change it up later.

i'd just ditch the ac. Unless its abnormally hot around where you live. I've had mine out for a while and I love it. There is so much more room in my engine bay to work with .

You might want to get a picture of the ACTUAL manifold and not just go off of the one that is pictured in that page. The HKS B-series manifold that I sold looks NOTHING like that.

Here is the thread that I had with my pics...

https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=18144

If i find pics of the D-series I'll post them up as well...

But I also think it will clear A/C. Why dont you just call some of the distributor and ask them personally and ask them what turbos they are using to clear it...
