What kind of car do you have and which fan did you remove, if you removed the driver side fan that is typically the A/C fan and only runs when you run your A/C.

well if you remove the cooling fan you won't be ok. unless you never stop for more than 2mins

i have a 91 rex with a del sol half rad, i have gone without a fan for about 2 months. it was driven around town in traffic and on the highway for about 500 miles.
my temp gauge on the dash never got over 3/4 . i was in tennessee and missouri where it was pretty damn hot too.

i wouldnt reccomend not having one but you dont need one unless you sit in traffic for a long time.

you can get a thinner one at autozone. but dont put that fan too close to the exhaust.

Agreed, dont ---- around... I am using a del sol 5g radiator in my crx with the crvtec. and it would get hot pretty quick. I wired the fan to always come on with igntion. better to be cool than hot!

man, a friend of mine just got a Griffin (sp?) radiator and at idle with the cooling fan on it would drop to 140*f or lower, im deffinately thinking about getting one now since i seen it actually do its job in a very very fast way....

well i think i just solved my own problem, i took the one out that was in my way, and wired the other one to a switch to the dash, so i can turn it on whenever, wich will probably be all the time. does that sound like a good plan?

my fan has gone through some hard times. It's always on, and I melted it once... man, it's still going too.
