Default compressor surge 14b on a z6

i just put a rfl bov on my civic but now i am getting major compressor surge. i tryed to change the wastegate vac location and still getting surge anyone have any ideas on how to get it to relieve? when the stock dsm was on. there was no surge! thanks

ur bov isn't opening enough. try a different vac supply. are those rfl's adjustable? if so loosten it up a bit.

why would you change the wastegate vac source if you want to relieve pressure? They have nothing to do with each other. you need to put your BOV vac source on the manifold or FPR.

why would you change the wastegate vac source if you want to relieve pressure? They have nothing to do with each other. you need to put your BOV vac source on the manifold or FPR.
i was gonna say that but was to lazy to comment on his stupidity lol. vac source for wg from my experience works good off ur ic piping. bov vac source is good of intake mani anywhere after the throttle body. there should be some off the back of ur intake mani or get a fat pipe T that has a small vac source for the t n tap into the brake booster

thanks guys! the vac source part was cuzz the wg wasn't opening but i got it to open the pin holding the accuator was lodged and it held it closed. but thanks again!!
