Default comp housings on hot side?

why isn't the turbine housing made out of the same material as the comp side? I understand about the exhaust gasses being hot, but, wouldn't thermal transition still keep the comp side as hot or comperable to the turbine side? I would think that aluminium would keep the temps down a little since it has properties to displace heat better.

Melting point of Aluminum is 1220 degrees F

They use cast because it can withstand far more heat than aluminum. Screw the heat tranfer, you want that hot expanding exhaust gases to spool that turbo. People on this forum have tired to use aluminum adapter plates, the result? A big ------- mess..
