Cold weld stuff?

Does the cold welder stuff they sell at autoshops work. I plan on using it to cover the sunk bolts on my adapter plate to make it flat for my gasket. Will it take heat?

it might...you have to really let it set...a friend of mine used it to plug a hole in his cast oil pan and it worked great

don't know about that ----. used it years ago on a manifold. worked at first but then fell right out about a week later. maybe heat was the culprit. i wouldn't use it if i were you.
