Default clutch recomendation

LS soon to be LSVtec turbo making around 350hp to the wheels. Will be running slicks and will get some street duty.
What brand of clutch do you guys recommend? Don't want to go puck because trannys are expensive.

thanks.

6puck unsprung..

ACT 6puk is a race clutch that is unsprung, it will drive like ---- on the street and just in time wear out (probably wouldnt last longer than a year) . I did more research on clutches last week than I have ever done in my life. Trying to find a clutch for that HP range is so freaking tough. It's obvious you want a clutch thats going to hold the power, yet not be like a race clutch. I'll say this.. for that kinda power the ACT XT/SS would be a pretty god damn close choice, its pushing it, but I bet it would be pretty good. Your other choice would be a Clutch Specialities Stage 3, its a 6puk disc SPRUNG, so it's going to work ok for the street, and comes with a heavy duty pressure plate.

Would it hurt anything to get a clutch that holds more power than I need? I plan on fully building the block to wring out 500+HP, but I will only put like 200miles a year on the car. Should I still stay with the ACT XT/SS?
