civic gsr-t
originally i was going to boost a d15b but i got my hands on a b18c1 and im thinkin bout boosting that. but what internal stuff would i need to do befor i boost? im lookin to b in the 230-250whp range. and which fule man. te or uber?

Re:civic gsr-t
230-250hp range, I wouldn't bother doing anything to the internals. Of course if you did you could well exceed 250 whp and it would be safer, but it's not necessary. I'd get a clutch that will be more boost friendly and thats it. you'll want to run uberdata with that engine (obd1)

Re:civic gsr-t
Yes, fuel management will be your key here. If you have a complete stock reliable engine, then id feel safe boosting that puppy to 8psi - 10psi, you will make you 230whp - 250whp goal easily with good engine management. I do recommend pinning the block if this is a project car though
Good luck and if you do need a clutch, im the guy to hook you up |

Re:civic gsr-t
if you get a good sized turbo you could well get into the 300hp range with 10 psi and a good tuner..

Re:civic gsr-t
well im happy to hear that. this is my daily driver so i want it to be reliable. and i will prob want more power later.
"Of course if you did....." what are best internal mods to ensure no KABOOOOOOM! |
Re:civic gsr-t
I'd have to say build the bottom end with eagle rods and some forged pistons (CP's are nice) 8)
