yeah i got a simple set up on my d15b7, t25 on STD Manni and a first gen BOV and a Vortech 12:1 FMU, i was wondering is it gonna be worth it to get it tuned with chrome or just let it be, cus right now it idles just fine and everything is working fine just that when i get on the gas up to the 5k and 6k i start to feel less power i'm guessin its cus of the shortage on fuel, but my question is, is it worth it to get my ecu chipped with chrome?

 

your car would run even smoother and you'd gain more than a few ponies upgrading to a better ems like chrome

 

u gas milage would probably increase, u'll see a lil bit more power, your engine will run smoother and MORE reliable, and it doesnt cost that much find somebody in your town with a wideband and do some street tuning to keep your ---- running, it's cheap and gets the job done i say ---- yeah

i dunno how well chrome would actually work on an ecu rather than making it shiney , but i would find someone to chip it using crome

 

Seeing as it hasn't been mentioned....

Buy injectors
Remove FMU
Get ECU Chipped....
Get it TUNED!!!! (without this step... it'll be on a basemap and not be worth it)

 

Word. :1 Almost any OBD1 chipped ECU will run 'CROME" and/or Uberdata. Yes it's worth it if you can find someone to tune it for you. FMU is ----.
