whos actually had experiance with these type of gaskets? i have one laying around in the garage and was considering using it.
if they have a tendancy to blow out i wont bother to use it.
my gasket is tost so i was thinking of using it with some copper spray.

 

ive used them and have friends that use them. no problems with blowing out so far.

 

Just go to your local auto parts store and but a turbo gasket set for a 1986 MERKUR XR4TI. $4.69 for the set

ive been using that same set for 3 months no probloms so far

 

I had one of those gaskets blow out. It leaked so bad I could barely spool up the turbo.

Personally I'd get one of these. Thats what I'm using now

where does everyone buy their 5-bolt DP gaskets? i have th larger 5bolt housing and cant find a gasket anywhere...
