Check Valves on a d15b
The motor in the car i just got is a d15b . Im installing a turbo kit, and im confused about the map sensor. It was easy on my d16z6, but on this it has a electrical connector on the TB instead of the vaccum hose on the d16z6. Can I install check valves on the d15b? if so, where?
Sorry, it's been 3 years since my last turbo'd honda.
Any info is appreciated, thanks.

Um i think you would use a map sensor that was seperate from the intake manifold i believe alot of ef's came with those types. You plug that one in and just run the right vaccum lines to it from the manifold and T the check valves in the the line. I think thats the way you would do it but i might be wrong. This might help you out.
Red is the map sensor
Blue is the check valve
Yellow is were your map sensor is located at
orange are were misc vaccum lines.
Hope this helps
Dont worry about that rats nest of a engine bay its in need of some tlc

Thats the picture of a 91 crx hf which has the map sensor on the firewall like stated the way i am kinda explaining it for you not to use a missing link. Your basically bypassing the map sensor on the TB by using one off an ef and just using a vaccum line and plug it in. I am running the check valves on my map sensor. The check valves are t-ed in to the line that goes to the Manifold. I think most d15b's that were in eg's came with the map sensor on the manifold. If you have the missing link im not sure how the plug in but from what they look like i think they are sandwich inbetween the manifold and the map sensor. If your going to use check valves just by pass it how i explained it.
It's a 94 cx, with a d1b5 in it. The electrical connector on the TB(map sensor), just runs into the main harness... That's why im wondering if i HAVE to use the missing link, and can't use checkvalves.
