Default Check Engine light in second gear-boost cut! HELP PLEASE!!!!

I have a 88 CRX D16A6 with a .42 .48 T3 set at 8 psi internal no management yet. It runs good until I hit boost for a few seconds in second gear. Then the check engine light comes on and it seems that the timing retards or fuels cuts because I lose boost instantly. I know that the first thing someone will say is get management, and I will but it wont be for a couple months. Hopefully someone can help me out with what this is? Thanks!!!

so you have no fmu, missing link, or anything? It is throwing the code because your ecu is seeing boost. It will actually throw this code after it sees only a couple psi. I suggest you stop doing this soon because you will blow your motor.

So I should get check valves I thought I should only get check valves if I have a FMU I don't wanna run any engine management yet, but it should be fine with stock injectors and fuel map up to 6 or 7 or 8 psi?

Wow, dumbass noob of the year award goes to....

Was your car made for boost? No. you need SOME KIND OF FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, jackass. Maybe you should've read up before you boosted your car. Slap an FMU on there atleast, for pete's sake...

do yourself and your motor a favor and take the turbo off your car.

you dont need engine management
you need brain management

DO NOT drive your car--you will destroy it in a matter of minutes!

Take off the turbo until you've figured it out, or else at least disconnect it from the intake piping and run n/a

Fuel traction heater solenoid.

get an fmu and some check valves at minimum. or undo the internal wastegate from the flapper.
