Default Cheap IC alternatives

Hey guys, I'm plaaning on running a 14b turbo on my D16z6 @ about 6/7psi, maybe 8, and i was wondering what my IC options were. I don't want to spend more than $100 on an IC, so that leaves even the Starion/Conquest IC out of the qustion. What other stock intercooler would u guys reccomend? FC or FD IC? or a 1G/2G DSM? any advice would be appreciated.

Dude go to DSMtrader.com or the classified section here and you can find tons of IC for reasonal prices. Just look around and if you want a side mont from a 1g or 2g eclipe I have seen them for 50 and 30 dollar on DSMtrader.com even Starion IC for a 100 bux so check them out.

DONT GET A DSM intercooler. They are small and dont fit in hondas other than in the engine bay.All they do there is draw heat frome the engine.I had one but sold it.Get one frome an Audi or a Volvo or a Saab. They are cheap, end tanks are easy to get to and they are cheap! I bought one frome an Audi and told the chick at the chekout (at the junkyard)it was a radiator and paid 15 bucks!!

hey guys I found a top mount intercooler off an FC RX-7, but I'm not sure if it'll fit. Anybody else using this intercooler or heard of anybody using this? BTW, the guy selling the intercooler for only $40!

DSM intercoolers can fit in the wheel well. Saw a few pics and it's sleeper like. My guess is that you'd get enough air.. hell if it's inside of an engine bay in a DSM, why wouldnt it get enough behind the Foglight inserts? Or just cut a pretty opening in the bumper, make it look nice, use girll mesh to protect from rocks.. get fog lights in the actual inserts..and ride out like i'm doing.
