Default cheap *** exhaust *nws*

ok so im pretty much going to be throwing some sort of muffler on my car. like 2 feet of pipe a glasspack or a muffler and then a turn down.

question is what do you guys think would be best, one magnaflow muffler which i can then reuse on a nice exhaust or two summit glasspacks all this is going to be 3 inch.

im leaning towards the glasspacks cuz there cheap i just dont know how it will sound.

glasspacks

Well if you got a straight flow magnaflow, its going to be very similar to the glasspack. Definitely a sound difference because of the different materials of course. But I would just do glass pack for now. If you're just jigging something up. A cherry bomb costs only 30 and lasts a little while.

are you n/a or turbo ? if you have a turbo just run open dp. but make sure you point the end of it facing down. if you are n/a, turbo it.

Summit muffler and a summit rez. End of story, cheap and will sound good if its turboed or na, But since you are going 3" im going to assume that you are turboed.

I had a magnaflow and it was a waste. Unless you want that muffler look but still sound loud as hell. I had one on my gvr4 as it just had a straight pipe all the way to the bumper. Then installed the magnaflow and still sounded the same if not louded. Stick with the cheap ----. Atleast if you don't like it your not out alot.

i had 2.5 straight pipe with one resonator i pulled out of a garbage (dont know if it was still good)
this year i added a $30 glass back and it made it sound great
sounds more sporty and got rid of the rasp
but i think its already starting to burn out and get louder

well i think its going to be a 20 dollar cherry bomb glasspack and a foot of 3 pipe i got for free. pipe even has a v band flange and o2 bung on it. v band i will save for later and now i can hook up yet another o2 sensor.
