Default Charge piping won't stay together

Hey people whats up. I've been trolling this board for a long time now just reading and learning.
Currently i'm running a b18b1 in my 96 4dr. I have a 18G turbo set up with custom intercoolers blah blah blah.
Anyway my charge piping on th ecool side of the intercooler keeps blowing apart. For some reason the coupling won't hold it together when i'm fully spooled (only 9 PSI). Anyone have any sugestions on what i could to?

Take the pipe and put tack welds around the end of it to hold the clamp on better...

Put them at positions 12, 3, 6, and 9... or however you want...

Or, you could try spraying the inside of the coupler with hairspray and using a socket on the clamp instead of a screwdriver...

if your pipes have smooth ends, definitely put a couple short beads of weld at the end so that the clamp has something extra to grip onto.

also use the 8mm wrench to tighten the clamps like they said above.

that'll work, also if you dont have a mig like some of us do. or dont have a friend wit ha tig/mig. then you could do the jb weld way, an put a bead of jb weld around it. i've seen this done before.....

Don't use Jb weld!!!!!!!!!!!! If for whatever reason a piece of the Jb chips off I don't think you want it going into your motor. Run to the muffler shop and have it tacked at the ends.

yeah the end of the pip that keeps poping off is smooth. I don't have a welder nor the cash to have the muff shop do it for me. (*** hats around here charge an arm and a leg to do anything) So i bought some T-Clamps this mornign and i'm goign to redo all the piping today along with installing a catch can and wrapping my DP and mani. I'll let you guys know what happends.
