Default Catch Can Questions...

Okay, no this isn't my set-up. It is just a mock-up to see if I have it set up correctly. I took pics and you can see everything. Let me know if I have it in all the right places so I can finalize it with better material shortly. Thanks guys!

From the valve cover--> catch can --> out to the pre-turbo intake. Right?

I had a cool filter on there, but I heard it's okay; however, this is suppose to be waaaaaay better. That's definatly not going to be the stuff I use to make my set-up. LOL. I just did it to see if I had everything set up properly and in the right places before I finalized it.

Curious about this myself. I've got a few Coke bottles laying around I'd like to turn into catch can's. Just kidding Samson, I do want to know how to hook it up the correct way though. There's been too many debates at HT about weather or not the lines are run correctly.

I read the sticky on here and searched H-T for pics and what not. This was just to size it up and if I ran the lines right that's all. H-T has some really nice and clever ones made. Sea-foam can is probably my favorite though. Does placement of hose in the can matter? Do I need a breather on the catchcan? How much more efficent/safer is it? Just simple questions. Oh well, we'll find out soon enough. For the record though I searched around just wanted to make sure first.

P.S. Trans, Aldi's Diet Rite bottles > Coke.

Word. Why would it be different? I wouldn't think so. Then I got it right then? Fill my catch can with steel wool and breather on top right? What about the placement of the in and out tubes for the catch can? Any particular placements for them?

Yep its run right. I actually eliminated my can and now run the breather chamber and valve cover straight to pre-turbo for extra suction. Just burn all that crap

Sooooooo one long tube from the vavle cover to the intake? Thanks for clearing it up bro. I'm going to pick up some hose and a little nicer can and all now. Do I need a breather on my can?

I wouldn't run a breather on the can, you'd get less suction.
