I hooked up my catch can about 2 weeks ago on my set up and I have nothing in the can at all still. I have run to the intake pipe off the turbo to the can then the can to the valve cover. I know a few other kids that have to empty theres every few weeks so Im just wondering if it is ok to see nothing in the can.

 

Do you have anything inside to filter the oil out?
If not, put some steel wool inside.

 

if your car has very miminal blow by then it would take a long time to see the actual "oil" filling up.

 

Its got steel wool in there already.....The pcv system is alot diff on my car then the older civics...this is on a 04 set up

dont you just hook up stock pcv hose to another hose to the catchcan, the on the other fitting on the catch can to the pre turbo intake?

 

Do you have a pcv on the intake manifold that connects the manifold to the breather can on rear of engine?A little off topic but can you take some photos of your charge piping etc for me?I have a guy locally who wants me to boost his car and running charge pipes looks kinda tough.

I used a aem intake for the car and 3 cai off other civics and integras

 

Hot 7th gen.

PCV line going to intake mani --> remove from mani add hose --> run to can -->
Plug mani spot (or use it) --> then -->
VC --> can


It will build up, trust me. I have a 20oz Gatorade bottle 1/4 full now, before it was like vapors. It all adds up.
