Default Catch can installed!(pics)

I finally got around to installing my homemade catchcan as well as redoing my vacume lines with silicone hose. Enjoy the pics and feel free to comment.

where does the other end of the line go? to the pcv valve?

Exactly. I drilled out the center of the pcv valve and took out the spring and bearing leaving it open.

Thats the exact same setup I have sitting in my garage ready to be installed. (Drilled out PCV, line to catch can, line to preturbo intake)

Hows it working for you?

nice. im not really a fan of the blue hose but if you like it thats cool.

can you explain the line from the vc to the preturbo intake? im not sure what that device is in the middle

So for so good. In a week or so I'm gonna open the can up and see how the steel wool is doing as a filter medium.

Sounds good man, please let me know. I put some steel wool in mine too. If the old lines are any indication the catch can will be a worthwhile addition (it was all gummy inside them from old condensed oil vapors in the OEM pcv system).

shouldnt the line from the vc to the intake go through the catch can? Have you ever taken that preturbo intake piece off and seen if it was all oily in there?
