my friend just turbo'd his 96 ek coupe, sohc vtec

its an hf manifold to a tdo5h turbo


the car wont boost over 4 pounds, we looked for boost leaks, and took the vacum line off the wastegate and it still wouldnt go over, its stock ecu, injectors, and pump, he is waiting on the ecu to come in

is the internal wastegate adjusted to tight ?

there is a boost leak some where just looking at them and thinking "these all look good :1" inst the way to find it

 

So you're using NO engine management? you're prolly getting a cel then?

Its prolly leaning out and missing.

 

Ill go with your wastegate flapper is opened.
