yes, i'm trying to figure out what the problem is 'cause the noise is horrible.
"details" is kind of vague - what more would you like to know?

it's been on for about a month and it's done it the whole time.
i don't see any leaks around the manifold. i'll take a closer look at the down pipe when i put it up on a lift tomorrow.
i'm wondering if my wastegate is still letting exhaust go by even tho i installed the O ring that i was originally missing.

i was going to say, did you install the o-ring take all the vacuum lines off your wg, then let your car idle and feel if any exhaust is coming out of your dump tube, if not, put the lines back on and see if any exhaust is coming out of it, maybe a blown gasket somewhere? just check all your gaskets and bolts if the wg is working fine. i had a problem like this and couldn't figure it out, i finally tore the whole set up down to find the gasket between the turbo and manifold had blown out.

Re:car sounds like a lawn mower?
well lemme ask you this: right now i have the side of the wastegate connected to the comp. housing and the top open to atmosphere. i've read that if i hook the side up to the intake manifold, it effects the wastegate (usually causing faster spooling)
i'm wondering if the wastegate is running slightly open all the time because of the vacuum source and causing it to spool really slow. i don't hit 8psi till around redline.
