hey guys i have a prob w my setup, i took it out 2day to see how the car will run under boost, i was crusin at 2000-3000 rpm and had no probs with acceleration but once the boost started to kick in the car started to de-accelerate yet the engine would get louder and i could hear the turbo spooling up faster, wat can cause this prob? i have no leaks and the turbo is gettin 25psi of oil and my exhaust is a 2" staight to the back

what kind of fuel management? what engine? what turbo set up?

 

I'm gonna have to go ahead and say either your clutch or tranny is slipping horribley.

 

without knowing a damn thing about this car, I'm going with car is extremely lean under boost.

 

im using Perfect power Smt6 piggy back , w 210 cc injectors, bigger fuel pump, Msd 8.5mm spark wires, bosch spark plugs, egine is a Daewoo Lanos 1.5 SOHC 8v Etec stock hp is 86bhp , set up is smt6 piggy back, w 210 cc injectors, bigger fuel pump, Msd 8.5mm spark wires, bosch spark plugs, JDM 7 point earth groundkit, garrette T25 with internal wastegate from eclipse,Custom Log Turbo Mani, mitsu starion intercooler, Blitz SS BOV, Hallman Es MBC, Greddy AutoTimer, Auto meter C2 A/F ratio gauge, Faze Boost Gauge, Faze Oil psi gauge, Faze oil/water temp gauge, 2.25" straight through exhaust w 3" Blitz muffler

 

no thats nt the case new clutch and disc, and drive shafts. the car runs perfect with out havin the turbo pipes hooked up, but once hooked it and i start to hit 2000-2500 rpm its drops and almost dies , could it be nt enough oil psi to the trubo of too much restriction in my exhaust , its 2.25" w a 2.5" resonator and a 3" blitz muffler

 

i dnt think its lean cz i can see the enrichment of fuel commin out of my exhuast the A/f gauge shows rich ... wish i had a W.b O2

 

do not trust a afr from the stock o2 sensor .... i'd check ur spark plugs it would give more info than that o2 afr ...

 

Where do you live? An experienced turbo kid could probably take a ride along in your car and give you some insight.
