Default cant clock Exh housing

I picked up a IHI VF turbo off a older subaru and being that their mounted upside down on the engines I have to clock the middle section around but damn thing won't turn. Any ideas on how to break it loose? I don't wanna find another turbo cause this thing is perfect and no play and the car only had 92k on it and was only rearended so engine was fine. Plus I didn't see a adapter made for it beside the just IHI Rhb5 and mine has that goofy triangular flange so I'm just welding on a T3 flange and calling it a day!

Put the turbo in the vice and use a torch to worm it up then hit it with a hammer it should break loose. It may take a little while but it will work.

and if you don't have a torch? I've got a box of matches, maybe shoot some fireworks at it?

lol, use some WD40 or something to lube it up with, loosen all the bolts real good (as much as they can go) Set the housing in a vise and just start tapping all around the backside of the compressor housing with a hammer, sometimes it take a few good wacks.
