1,4 & 2,3 then? Still easy to make with EL's, just miter cut the ones like 15* on the head flanges. 1,4 15* up 2,3 15* down or the other way around. Explain the setup of splog nignog. I doubt there would be much of a problem with doing it my way, honestly. You might be catching the cylinders out of pulse scavenging in low rpm I guess, but it's a ------- log, it all mashes together anyway.

Thermocouple for EGT sensor? It is a diesel after all, most performance diesel trucks have EGT's and gauges in the cockpit.
