Can My Project Be Boosted?
Whats up guys i currently have a 5th gen. civic with the jdm d15b boosted and trading for a 90 teg with a 95 gsr bored .25 over with type r pistons and alot of other mods that already runs high 13s and im already lookin to boost it but the reason this guy didnt is cus the compression would be to high. But ive seen type r integras boosted and couldnt i just raise the compresion somewhere else with stackable head gasket? Im just lookin for some options and wanna know if this is goona hold up and what else ill need if anything so fill me in with ur input and if ur sellin an b series turbo parts let me know. THANX

never stack headgaskets...
Just boost it... Compression isnt too high.. Youll make more power per psi with a higher compression motor...
Just dont think your gonna go high boost with high compression..

Yea thats what i was thinkin that i could run boost just not alot but u think its a good trade even tho im goin back 3 years, the teg is almost as fast all motor as mine turbo but mine isnt fully tuned yet, this guy just wanted something turbo but i think im gettin the good end of the deal with all the mods on his compared to mine

Re:Can My Project Be Boosted?
This is HMT, if you ask the question, we'll always say yes.
BoostedEJ1: Hey AbaZ, should I turbocharge my desk lamp?
AbaZ: Why would you even ask me that? Of course you should.
And as for the more productive answer, yes I would say go ahead and boost the higher comp motor, only get a more defined answer of what the CR is on it, so you know for sure. And like it was said previously, don't expect to run much boost to it, unless its got like super bulletproof sleeving and the strongest internals ever and you are a master of tuning.
