Can I get an expert opinion please?
I am using T25 off an SR20 for my D15 with a Y7 head. I want to run 7 psi maybe 10 on occasion.
My question is will my H22 injectors I have 290cc be enough? I have no fuel pump or pressure regualator upgrades. I am going to ordered a tunned ECU once I get it all together. 450cc injectors seems like too much for such a small engine and low boost. I don't want to be smoking or have rough idle since this will be dailey driven. On the other hand leaning out and frying your pistons sucks to. Sorry for the newb question. |

290cc no good even 450cc are only good up to 10psi. use DSM ingectors they are 450cc from mitsubishi eclipse for cheep.
And you have to tune it other vise big BOOM. good luck |

Everithing is gonna be smooth if you use your stock OBD1 ECU chip it and at least street tune it. But remember no catalic converter you dont need back presure, too much back presure couze detonatin. And if you can, use external wastegate its gonna keep your boost more study.
With right tuner your car shuld idle perfect and gas milige yah its gonna eat a little maybe insted of 35mpg your gonna get 28-30mpg it depends how you drive. more boost more gas you know. |

there are to many veriables to each motor and set up. get it tuned after ward |

We use Phearable.net here all the time for our Hondas. Its not as good as getting a street tune but it's better than nothing. I don't have the ECU for a Z6 head so I got to buy one any ways. You just e-mail them what you got turbo, Intake, cams, injector size, Rev limit ect. and they send send you a base mapped pre tunned ECU. I know I said Y7 head. I am not normally a D Series guy but my friends gave all this awsome D Series stuff they had left over and I have done so many SR20 swaps and U/Gs I figured why not turbo it? I got nothing but time these days and very little money. I want to smoke some B and H series aroiund here.

Has any one ever used SR20 injectors? I have tons of those laying around. I have turboed many cars but I have always just bought a kit or swapped a motor into them. This the first attempt at an HMT. I also want to hide the turbo and piping so that when you look under the hood you can not see the U/Gs. I am rebuilding the engine, adding VTEC, and adding AC cause it's too damm hot here. I have 4 cars and none of them have AC.

Most Nissan uses Side Feed injectors and since there are no such type of rail for Honda it will not work. Besides people upgrade from side feed to top feed why go the other way LOL..

It looks like I am going to have to spend more money than. Maybe I can trade for some. I am trying to do all this for under $300. So far so good. What about an FPR? On 240SXs they don't do much unless you have them dyno tuned for the most part. Is an FPR a must? And do I really have to get a faster fuel pump?
FYI...That head gasket is suppose to be a $300 head gasket as well. |

Wow I was just asking for good advice. I don't care who it comes from as long as it's good advice. I am a grown ass man w/ kids and no money. I don't have time for this High School BS. I love to see your guys' set ups ,and I appreciate everyone's help so far. I am currently hunting down 1G DSM injectors.

Are you running a stock fuel pump? I would pick up a 255lph FP for added insurance.

Yay I asked about the fuel pump a few pages ago. I might be able to get a Walbro from a buddy. Is there any other fuel pump I can jack from a wrecked car on the cheap? Example: a Toyota Supra fuel pump?

I can see after mocking every thing up that inorder to keep AC the down pipe will be really really tight, or I lose AC for now, or I get another manifold. I am leaning towards no AC for now since it's will be cool by the time I get the car on the road.

I really need AC in West Texas. I was 107 today. I have a car with out AC, carpet, interoir, CD player, ect already for kicking ass. I just want to pep up my dailey driver.

My first snag. The cam wasn't turning like it should today when reassembled the engine. So I took off the cam caps as outlined in the FSM and chunks of the caps just came off. Long story short this rebuilt Z6 head is fucked. I have a Y8 head but it needs lots of pieces and I think it requires one head stud I don't have. Can you order just one head stub from ARP?
