Found that on my local craigslist. It's apparently off of a 1994 Mitsubishi FEHD, whatever the hell that is. Maybe a turbodiesel I4 powered truck, but I don't know.

It says it's a TD05 blah blah, is that the same turbo as is on the 94ish turbo Eclipses? Or is this just a waste of money? Thinking about trying to talk him down some.

What I find odd, after further inspection, is that it has a wastegate actuator that is indeed hooked up, but the flapper is spot welded shut. WTF? Also, it doesn't seem to have any way to connect a downpipe other than welding directly to the exhaust housing.

Other information I found:

Compressor wheel: 44.5 / 59.8mm

Turbine wheel : 49 / 55.8mm (TD05H shaft wheel)

Oil cooled bearing system.

I'm not to keen on turbocharger specifications, but would this support around 225-250 horsepower efficiently?

the compressor wheel looks like it might be a 16g, def not a 14b compressor wheel.

huh, I've never seen a TD05 turbo like that, and I've seen a few...That truck I think is similiar to like a ??Isuzu?? NPR or a Mitsubishi?? FUSO...I'd try to get that turbo...

For $150 bucks you can buy a real small 16g that is'nt all crusty and old.

But would a 16g boost better/quicker than this old thing? I couldn't find specs on the 1994, but the new FUSO FEHD makes 175hp and I think 391lbs of torque.
