I wanted to p/u a used cam to send it out for a re-grind but, my fear is that if I p/u a used camshaft that it will not be the same as the one Im using.
So, I called them to see if the cam I send them is a core, or, if it is the actual cam they will be machining.
And to my dismay it is the latter.
So I will be trying to locate a good used D16A6 camshaft, then Ill contact Delta to work on the specs of the re-grind.

actually depends on the motor yes, this is how it works send in a f22b1 cam get back a regrind f22b1 what they actually do is just comfirm that its the same cam then add it to the piles of cams that lay everywere in the shop in verious stages of the work being done then when they confirm the cam is the same as the one requested they ship out you new regrind the same day took two days for them to get my cam to my door

Re: Cam suggestions

If you are stuck at 300 whp you have a problem with your ignition, fuel system, turbo being too damn small, etc. A stock D-series with pencil sized ports can make 400+ on a stock head, flowing air through dinky ass valves. By comparison, F-series have no problems whatsoever.
