Hey nick to answer your question... bigger is definitely not better as larger intercoolers will result in more lag period.. If your boosting high enough you need the higher flow efficiency but at anything as low as your talking about a dsm would be sufficient if you can keep it cool, meaning try and mount it as a front mount or with lots of air hitting it from a cut out or something of the sort

yeah i know i am poor and couldnt pay my bills


remember more rows increases effiency..

often why GNX's run those like 20" long coolers, and only 8" wide.

but on a civic its kinda impractical

I heard that if the intercoolers pipes are too long, like when you have to go from the back of the motor (mine) to the frot mount ic that is gonna give you more lag than if you install the ic closer, is that true?
