Default CAI for piping

can i use my cold air intake for charge pipes? will it hold good? i know this has been covered befor but just need to be sure thanks

Yeah you can, the aluminum keeps weight down. The only bitch is that you'll need to get an aluminum flange for the BOV.

koo so it will hold up..probably cut a section on the CAI and put steel piping with silicon couplers for my BOV..

damn son, i was wondering wtf happened to you. that ----'s looking good!! i know you're gonna have more (a lot) pics and a write up when you're done i'm finally piecing together another kit, hopefully i won't have to sell this one :P

yeh. minor set backs of course
i've still been posting but i got the interrcooler all mount and piping to the TB done.
gotta go get some oil and thne i should be driling the pan tonight.
i gotta plenty of pics

those are stock. plugs are under there( somewhere)
they have had plasma booster out for the car for a while
but everyoone came tothe conclusion there were worth it without major engine or Forced induction.
But yeh that's my 01 D17
