i gotta a d16y8 with je srp pistons, str block guard, and crower billet rods. im gonna be runnin the toyota ct26, greddy 2mm head gasket, jrc frontmount, turboedit but with just the basemap, act stage one clutch, and a little bit of spray. how much do you think this motor can handle?? dont want to blow it up the first run this spring. i might even get some small slicks. what times do you guys think i can pull?

 

probably 900hp and you'll run 4's.

i know that but i dont wanna blow the thing up. just curious on others experience on what they have ran. i've only done allmotor or nitrous, never turbo.

 

your leaving out a lot of info there pal, how much boost? whats the c/r? what model/curb weight crx? whats the suspension like? elevation where you live? how much n20? and also if your using n20 and a turbo edit base map, i predict you'll blow it up the first time you spray because it isnt tuned...

 

im only gonna be runnin around 12psi and a very small shot of nitrous just to get the turbo spoolin. like a 35 shot maybe smaller. kyb gr2's, ebay coilovers and strut bars&tie bars ( i know its cheap this is a budget build) its in a 89 si with just the rear interior stripped out. i dont know the elavation here but i live in wisconsin if that helps?

 

oh buy the way the ct26 was built by PT (performance technique) and its a 62 trim its frigin huge. thats the reason for the nitrous

 

you are going to get nitrous because you arent sure that you will get enough air in them chambers to melt the block? enjoy your one and only run in it
