Built 11:1 Z6, thinking of going low boost instead of ITB's. PICS!

TBolts -- basically hose clamps are great at holding couplers on, especially cheap ones. So, you coan bead roll your pipes, but some spot welds on the ends, or run t-bolts, or just deal with the occasional coupler popping off
BOV--Cheap ones are fine because they acutally work. BOV's are fairly simple and pretty hard to ---- up.. Worst case scenario on an ebay bov is that you may need to cut the spring a bit to make it easier to open up. Also DSM BOV's FTW. All metal, work well, 25-50$ or free from your local junkyard
Turbo -- If you want real quick spool, that 42/48 will be fine. But a bigger non chinese turbo would spool up quick as well. I'd prolly go bigger t3 (48/60 , 63/60)
to suit your needs

Does the SIZE of the turbo matter, when it's externally wastegated down to 6psi?
Or does the only thing thats gets affected is spool time?

Bigger turbo spools later but with more flow = more power

Gotcha, so as long as I have the correct spring in the wastegate, I can run ANY size turbo, and only boost to 'X' psi[w/e the WG spring is]... correct?
So basically I need to find a turbo that spools quickly and flows well in the top end... right?
What would be a good size for that? .50/.60 type stuff or... what? idk, i'm a complete newbie when it comes to turbo sizes

That might be a better question to ask Blaast
