Default Building a T3/T4... how? *Pictures Added*

Ive searched, and came up negative.

What is Neccessary to convert my t3 (.42/.4 to a T3 T4?

I have another T3/T4 that i bought, supposedly brand new from SSautocrome on ebay. Needless to say, Bad idea.. that wurbo is gone. Thrustbearing, and shaft are out. Saft is all scarred, and the thrustbearing broke.

So, could i just take the T4 Backplate, turbine wheel, and Housing.. Slap it on the T3 and expect it to work? Or is it more intailed than that.

The reason i am asking is because today i took off the filter, didnt think to replace it, sucked up a rock, and now... the compressor is GONE on the T3. Doenst spool a cent.

first, you gotta get a t3

then, you gotta get a t4

then you will need some booze to set the mood, and some barry white.

everything else will work itself out.

...more seriously tho, a t3/t4 consists of a t3 exhaust housing and turbine, with a t4 compressor wheel and housing...just basically swapping parts.

SO just taking the back-plate, Turbine wheel, and housing from the T4, and bolting it all up to the T3 without needing a thrust bearing, and all the other BS should work? Given that i take the old thrustbearing and such off the old t3 housing?

And that would be done by sending it where?...

Is there a write up somewhere that i can read for all the info instead of getting a million and 1 fragments of info.

rebalance?just build it. install it, cross your fingers and hit 10psi. if it didn't break, it's balanced.

Umm.. ok, im starting to get confused.

What exactly is needed for the hybrid. I have a Broken t3/t4 -thrustbearings, bearings, shaft-, and a t3 that has the compressor fins jacked to hell wont build any boost.

What do i need to do to put the working t3 Turbine and the t4 compressor together? Where/How do i get it balanced? Can i get some serious answers?

you've gotten answers; take a class in reading comprehension.

The turbine (exhaust) + t3 center section is what you'll need from your T3; then bolt the t4 backplate to the housing; insert the t3 shaft and bolt the t4 compressor to the shaft; then put on the compressor housing and you're all set.

It's a good idea to get it balanced but its not needed; Especially if your turb's are low millage (which i'm guessing they're not). But to get it balanced isn't too expensive if i recall; you may ask a few local diesel shops around your area if you have any

Fookin awsome.

As far as the balancing, do i just take the whole turbo to them; or just compressor, etc? and what would i be looking to spend, how much time does it take?

Thanx for the straight anwser. Im going to do this today.
