its cool to blowoff in neutral but id rather have a later spool and have crazy top end, just like when youre racing somebody and youre going from a roll, then he pulls a car length or 2 at the start, then you ROCKET (I mean ROCKET) past him... i love the look on their faces

yea i know. top end is the greatest. which is why i flick my homemade ebc and run 15 psi when i need to kill the guy next to me. This is in a daily driven 94 cx, so it's relatively light.
as i said, i've had fast car with big turbos. the last one was a built z6 with a huge t3/to4e. wouldnt spool till 6k without a boost controller hooked up. 4.5 with one. only good run i ever got was 12.6 at 110 on 12psi. so far this car is the most fun, i'll just have to run 15-17psi to hit 12.99 which is all i want to do. with my suspension setup and slicks i know i will.
and to all the haters who like big turbo's. have you ever owned smaller one or is it all bandwagon stuff. you shoudl give em a shot, they are really fun.
i used to be on the "im gonna get the biggest turbo i can find, wait two weeks for it to spool, and then run 8psi on it and go fast" bandwagon. people dont really understand turbo matching. you can make as much horsepower as your big turbo on a smaller one, you just have to run more boost and put up with a real sweet powerband. but to each his own...........

and to the guy putting a t25 on a dohc with cams. dont (if its a b, if is a zc go ahead) the t25 will be too small and you WILL choke topend.

well shift into 4th :P

my setup used a te04h(way small) but ive never had the huge turbo experience. Driving around town or what have you would be more fun in a smaller turbo. I just dont like having to rev the pis out of somthing to make power. The te04h seemed to still pull up top when the wastegate spring was weak. Il be putting the turbo kit on a 1.5l anyways and head/cam isnt made for topend like a b-series.
