Um how does a vaccuum booster for brakes work if the car is under boost? I can't believe I just thought of this maybe being a problem!

 

The brakes don't work while you are boosting. Think about it, why would you need the brakes when you are at WOT and building boost anyways We are all just kamikaze mother ******* waiting for an accident........

I think (might be wrong) that there is also valve for letting only vacuum work (example: you turn yr car off, and hit brake, you still feel that brake booster works - at least for very short time after turning off engine).

On the other hand... you don't usually brake when in full boost .. and as soon as you lift of throttle yr mani is again in vacuum.

 

My car had no engine for 3 weeks, when I was putting the engine back in I took the brake booster hose off the brake booster and it still had vacuum.

 

guys it has a check valve...

 

Are you guys saying while in wide open throttle your brakes dont work?why?

 

So basically no one that has a turbo honda with power brakes has had problems or even noticed? Great, question answered!
