Default brake master cylinder cause me not to boost past 5psi?

well everytime i turn off my car i hear a hssssss sound coming from the brake master cylinder! could it be the booster or master cylinder? i mean my brakes are fine i could stop on a dime but i just turn off the car and there is that hsss and its been awhile but now that im boosted its getting annoying that i cant boost past five! so any suggestions would help thanks guys!

you cant boost past 5 PSI because your brake master cyclinder leaks maybe i am reading this wrong

your not t'ed off to the brake booster vacuume line are you? that may be your problem. My buddies car has the same leak on his brake booster and makes the same hissing sound. he's pushing 8 lbs but he is not using the brake booster vac line as a vac source.

yeah taking vacum off of the mater cylinder would probably cause a bubble or leaking vac line check em out. and make sure your getting a good vac source off the intake mani

well no im not t'd off the booster but i'll check some more places where there might be a leak but i mean wouldnt that be a problem because the mooster hooks up to the intake manifold?
