Re: bov welding ?
Wouldn't you BOV be aluminum. You got aluminum pipe from a muffler shop?
I would try to use a flange to your charge pipe. |
Re: bov welding ?
get the matching flange in steel, weld it to a short section of pipe. Weld that to your charge pipes. Bolt the two flanges together. ;)

Re: bov welding ?
its not aluminum pipe, its that aluminized steel pipe... i thought you could just drill a hole, place the bov in it, and then beed around the bov....you cant do that?

Re: bov welding ?
this type of bov doesnt have a flange, it does come with another tube you put on the end to enxtend it.
this is my bov - http://www.turboxs.com/_images/BOV_Type_S_small.jpg |
Re: bov welding ?
I don't know man, I would just say I wouldn't want my bov mount permanently to my charge pipe.
Would not still need a rubber hose from your outlet on your charge pipe to that style of bov. |

Re: bov welding ?
That bov looks like anodized aluminium to me, try to stick a magnet to it ::)
