BOV not opening..

Alright so I have the greddy type RS. It worked great with the previous setup (14b).. Now I switched to a t3/t4 and external wastegate and its not working all of a sudden. I never messed with the adjustment until tonight and loosened it all the was out so its pretty easy to open.. Nothing. I changed vacuum lines and still nothing.. Any clue anyone?

maybe you tightened it. or your vacuum source is bullshit.

its also possible you have a terrible boost leak. but, judging by your post, you know nothing about anything so in that case drink bleach and die.

Just letting people know the changes made even though it could be irreverent. The vacume source has stayed the same. No leaks. No I didnt tighten it. I said I loosened it. Thats after I seen it wasnt opening. Could it be its possibly not making enough psi to open? 5.63 pound spring and reading at a little under 6.

whats up with all these newbs comming on here blazing people for no reason?
the reason he ask the question its because he dont know, so why the dickhead response?

check you vac lines,
also retighten the bov a little, you might have it too lose where its is not closing and preventing you from building boost,
get your bov vac from the intake mani not the charge pipe or TB.
try those if it dont work get a different bov.
also check to make sure your wastegate is not leaking and preventing boost

bov dont work on how much psi you have they work on vacum, a more vacum the easier the bov will open.

Exactly, it doesnt matter if your making 5 psi or 50 psi the bov will open the same in vacuum, what vac source are you using??

look at the plunger when ur car's idling, if the screw is loose it should be open a little bit.

About the vac lines all I can say is they are almost all replaced with a tad bit bigger. I just dont see why it would effect it. Vacume source is from the intake.. Its building boost because I can hear the fluttering of the blades turning backwards.. (compressor surge) .. Plus I seen it on the gauge when I had on there temporarily.
