dont take this advice. you can run safely 200hp boost doesn't matter hp does. and that 200hp+or-20 you still have to take into consideration the condition of the engine and how good of a tune you have. its not simple plug and play there is no set boost limit you can run on a stock block becuase 10psi on a t25 and 10psi on a t3 are way different and even different t3 will give different amounts of horse power depending on the size of it so do just put it to 10psi and go rip on it becuase you will likely just blow it up

my zc has a volvo turbo on it. is it the garret or the mitsu tdo5/4 look at the tag or better yet is the bov part of the turbo? spools nice and runs pretty good stock wg is around 5psi and you can run about 12-13 on a z6 with this turbo.

ten psi on a small little turbo will be different then 10psi on a bigger turbo. the pressure maybe the same but the air flow will be different and that is what matters

Dont go over 8 lbs. thats what mine is at but u can get 12 i think depending on condition of engine and quality of parts mine is around 180 whp in a 88 crx and it runs like a dog with his balls on fire!!

kona447 06-13-2009 11:09 PM

heres the adapter http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/index2.html its the TK-214 .. for the volvo's youll be fine man .. just run like 7psi

2BarRacing 06-14-2009 12:20 PM

the bolt holes are reg t3 you just have to throw a bead of weld in the two round areas where the gasket doesnt quite cover and belt sand it flat again took me 10 min. and this turbo with a good tune 10+ psi all day long on a stock z6 hell i will give you my map to start with.

brownsef 06-14-2009 01:34 PM

Its the 1 with the waste gate on it
Sweet thnx for thr link bro

kona447 06-14-2009 08:56 PM

i wud do that also but not all of us have welders .. so that site is the next best

2BarRacing 06-14-2009 11:08 PM

very true but there are also t3 to volvo t3 adaptors on ebay. take a pic of the turbo or if it still has a tag on it look at the tag. i dont have a pic of my turbo right now but there is a large bov looking thing on the compressor if yours has that its a mitsu turbo if it doesnt iits a garret. also does the exhaust have 6 bolts or a large clamp looking thing. with that turbo you will need to grind down these litle tabs so you can clock it to work with a honda

HONDAaSIf 06-16-2009 02:05 AM

yea u can

brownsef 06-16-2009 08:47 PM

it dont have a tag it does have a big bov so its a bov or a waste gate?

turbof22a 06-17-2009 07:51 PM

its not a wastegate if its on the compressor housing obviously and its not a bov if its on the turbine housings

here learn what it takes to put a volvo turbo on a SOHC

turbof22a 06-18-2009 11:22 PM

or just not be an idiot and realize all it takes is some welding and a flange

kona447 06-19-2009 12:46 AM

or just get ur self a legit adapter from that site .. no bullshit just throw it on .. simple as that

2BarRacing 06-19-2009 01:20 AM

yeah those adaptors are really nice

kona447 06-20-2009 06:40 PM

ya its pretty good .. mine just got here a few days ago

swepper d16z6 07-08-2009 12:50 AM
