Will a turbo manifold from a older Sunbird GT fit?The turbo flange won't work as they had i think a T25 or T3 but you can make or have some one make a adapter flange.

I would just get a manifold for like 160 bucks off ebay. Not many places make them, but you could buy the head flange from www.carcustoms.net and have someone weld you up one or even make it yourself. I would think an ihi might be a little small on your motor. I know your motor is only making 115hp stock, but keep in mind it is also a 2.2 ltr. For management, you would first need to figure out how much power you would want to make. I know the easist route would be just slap a fmu on there 4-6psi and call it a day. However, if you were going to boost a decent amount, I woudl suggest a megasquirt kind of deal. Good luck

Wait a minute... 2.2 SOHC? I thought the OHC motors were 2.4's or something. The 2.2's are pushrod motors.

first of all, you do have the OHV, not a single overhead cam, they didn't make one.

The exhaust manifold can be bought off ebay pretty cheap and they are decent for the application.

Second fuel is going to be hard for you, you have side feed injectors, I think you have 3 options
1)make a custom fuel rail for top feed
2)Run extra injectors on the intake side with an injector controller (not always the best idea but works if done right and safely)
3)Run a FMU and keep the boost below 6psi, the stock injectors can't handle much more

you can use the old intercooler, but i doubt the charge pipe will help, nor would i use them porlly of cracks and crap you can't see
i beleive your turbo is set at 8psi with the stock wastegate, but it flows like crap since it is really small you prolly want at least a .42/.48 and thats cutting it close

check out http://jbody.org in the boost forum, those guys know there ----.
If you don't want to piece a kit together, check out jtuners.com <<< they have one of the best kits out there for our cars
